PLAGUE.

Timeline:
May 14- Aaron
May 21- Evan
May 22- Ella
May 24- Maelina
May 27- *me* (never eating peanut butter again)
May 27- Evan…second round. Yee ha
May 28- Peyton

We have one kid left to go and then we will have the complete set.

My poor husband.

[I am typing this lying down---using one hand on my BlackBerry because as if the Plague were not debilitating enough, I now have Vertigo---and can't lift my head up straight without breaking out in a cold sweat, holding on to the nearest piece of furniture and willing myself not to throw-up the 5 saltine crackers I had today. Perfect.]

My poor husband worked 12 hours in the ER Thursday and then came home to a sick ward. He is taking care of 5 kids during the day—and has been up the past 2 nights caring for the rotating sicklets.

And now my only means of functioning is to remain horizontally positioned. I almost feel desperate enough to make a visit to that “awful place” where they have mail order doctors.

Please send help. And chap stick.

The End.

Aww, honey. I am really very sorry to hear that you are feeling so miserable.

What does your hubby do? I just always assumed he was, in fact, a pirate (I’m kidding … not quite THAT daft) but seriously – he’s in the medical profession?

I sincerely wish you a speedy recovery.

Oh, and my condolences regarding the peanutbutter. That’s a big loss.

That sounds horrible. One of the things that really helps me with nausea is mint tea. A lot of times when I’m sick, it’s the only thing I can stomach. Might be worth a try. My other being-sick quirk is changing my sheets every day. I’m a little weird about that to begin with (I love clean sheets!) but fresh sheets every day when I’m spending a ton of time in bed helps. Free tips of the day. :)

I hope you feel better soon. Get as much rest as you can–especially the sleep kind of rest. Stay hydrated. Have someone drop off that chapstick–nothing’s worse than that icky feeling you get when your lips crack!
